Equipment:
BD FACS Aria II (location BIOTEC):
- measurement of 16 parameters: 14 fluorescence detectors, FSC (forward scatter) and SSC (side scatter)
- 5 lasers: Red (640nm), YellowGreen (561nm), Blue (488nm), Violet (405nm), UV (355nm)
- 2 way sort into 15ml Falcon tubes, 2 & 4 way sort into FACS tubes and microtubes, slides and plates (6, 24, 48, 96 and 384-well)
- The cell sorter can only be used with service - please use this form and mail it the person in charge, Nicole Rund
(or phone 0351/46340119)
BD LSR II (location BIOTEC):
- measurement of 10 parameters: 8 fluorescence detectors, FSC and SSC
- 3 lasers: Red (633nm), Blue (488nm), Violet (405nm)
- you can measure out of tubes or plates (HTS-System)
- For using the LSRII you need an introduction. For introduction, please contact Nicole Rund. After being introduced you can use the online system to book the time for your analysis & to clean up. Booking system
BD LSR II (location MTZ):
- measurement of 15 parameters: 13 fluorescence detectors, FSC and SSC
- 4 lasers: Red (635nm), Blue (488nm), Violet (407nm), UV (355nm)
- For using the LSRII you need an introduction by BD. The classes are organized by Andrea Stephan at the Institute for Physiological Chemistry, please contact her directly for the next available spot in an introductory class. After being introduced please provide your certificate from BD to Silvia Palme - she will create your user account and you can then use the online system to book the time for your analysis & to clean up Booking system
BD FACS Calibur (location MTZ):
- measurement of 6 parameters: FSC (forward scatter) and SSC (side scatter), 4 fluorescence detectors
- 2 lasers: Red (635nm), Blue (488nm)
- For using the Calibur, you need an introduction. For introduction, please contact Nicole Rund.
