The BIOTEC offers 3 international research-focused Master's programs in English: Molecular Bioengineering (2002-present) and Nanobiophysics (2007-present). Both programs have a strong interdisciplinary inclination and are offered in close cooperation with other institutes of Biopolis Dresden, including the Max Planck Institutes for Molecular Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) and the Physics of Complex Systems (MPI-PKS), the Leibniz-Institutes of Polymer Research (IPF) and Solid State and Materials Research (IFW), the Max Bergmann Center for Biomaterials (MBZ), the Department of Materials Science and the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD).
In winter term 2010/11 a new international master program in Regenerative Biology and Medicine has been launched which is offered in close cooperation with the CRTD and the Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus.
Along with 4 other European partner universities, the BIOTEC also offers the EU-funded Erasmus Mundus program of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (EMM Nano), a double-degree track within the Nanobiophysics Masters course.
