Teaching at CMCB / BIOTEC

The application for the winter term 2018/19 runs from 1 April - 31 May 2018.

The CMCB - Center for Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering consists of the three institutes BIOTEC, CRTD and B CUBE and is a Central Research Unit of the Technische Universit√§t Dresden. The CMCB offers 3 international research-focused Master's programs in English: Molecular Bioengineering (since 2002) and Nanobiophysics (since 2007). Both programs have a strong interdisciplinary inclination and are offered in close cooperation with other institutes of Biopolis Dresden, including the Max Planck Institutes for Molecular Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) and the Physics of Complex Systems (MPI-PKS), the Leibniz-Institutes of Polymer Research (IPF) and Solid State and Materials Research (IFW), the Max Bergmann Center for Biomaterials (MBZ), the Department of Materials Science . In the framework of the MSc Nanobiophysics, we also offer a joint-degree program Erasmus Mundus Master's program Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (EMM-Nano), offered in cooperation with KU Leuven/Belgium, Universit√© Grenoble Alpes/France and University of Technology Chalmers/Sweden.
The 3rd master's program
Regenerative Biology and Medicine started in winter term 2010/11 and is run in close cooperation with the the Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus.

Along with 4 other European partner universities, the BIOTEC also offers the EU-funded Erasmus Mundus program of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (EMM Nano), a double-degree track within the Nanobiophysics Masters course.
