Teaching at CMCB / BIOTEC

The next application round runs from 1 April to 31 May 2020 for a start in October 2020 (winter term 2020/2021).

The Master's program Computational Modeling and Simulation started in October 2018. More information here

The CMCB -
Center for Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering consists of the three institutes BIOTEC, CRTD and B CUBE and is a Central Research Unit of the Technische Universit√§t Dresden. The CMCB offers 4 international research-focused Master's programs in English: Molecular Bioengineering (since 2002) and Nanobiophysics (since 2007). Both programs have a strong interdisciplinary inclination and are offered in close cooperation with other institutes of Biopolis Dresden, including the Max Planck Institutes for Molecular Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) and the Physics of Complex Systems (MPI-PKS), the Leibniz-Institutes of Polymer Research (IPF) and Solid State and Materials Research (IFW), the Max Bergmann Center for Biomaterials (MBZ), the Department of Materials Science . In the framework of the MSc Nanobiophysics, we also offer a joint-degree program Erasmus Mundus Master's program Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (EMM-Nano), offered in cooperation with KU Leuven/Belgium, Universit√© Grenoble Alpes/France and University of Technology Chalmers/Sweden.
The 3rd master's program
Regenerative Biology and Medicine started in winter term 2010/11 and is run in close cooperation with the the Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus. The 4th master's program Computational Modeling and Simulation (CMS), starting in October 2018, is jointly organized by the Faculty of Computer Science, the School of Science and the CMCB.

Along with 4 other European partner universities, the BIOTEC also offers the EU-funded Erasmus Mundus program of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (EMM Nano), a double-degree track within the Nanobiophysics Masters course.
