Human Protein Interactions - Exploring Proteasome Interactions
In
Large-scale mapping of human protein-protein
interactions by mass spectrometry
(Ewing et. al. 2007)
The authors mapped the interactions of 338 bait proteins in human cells to obtain
a data set of 6463 interactions between 2235 distinct proteins.
Below is the corresponding power graph, with power edges filtered and centered around
Proteasome subunits forming a nice structure between 4 proteasome baits
(PSMD10,PSMD13,FLJ11848, and p44S10) and other groups of proteasome subunits.
The paper discusses exactly this example in figure 6c.
